Our Commitment

At PSI, your data belongs to you. We don't sell your information. We don't share it with third parties. We don't build surveillance systems disguised as social platforms.

We do analyze usage patterns to improve the platform and support our ecosystem - but that data stays with us, for us, to help us build something better. Your information isn't a product to be sold. When we build user profiles, it's to personalize your experience within our platform, not to package and sell to advertisers.

Our mission is creating genuine economic alternatives, not extracting value from your personal information.

Information Collection and Use

What We Collect

Account Information:

  • First and last name
  • Email address
  • Password (encrypted)
  • Country of residence
  • Referral code

For Economic Feature Access:

  • Government-issued photo identification
  • Verification information required by regulations

Automatic Collection (Planned):

As the platform develops, we plan to collect:

  • Device information (device type, operating system, browser)
  • IP address and location data
  • First-party cookies for platform functionality (we don't use third-party tracking cookies)
  • Platform usage data (pages visited, time spent, features used)

Identity Verification Levels

Level 1 (Vouch): Referral-based membership unlocks social features. We store your name, email, referral code, and basic account info. This level unlocks cryptocurrency distribution, but not wallet access.

Level 2 (Digital): Government-issued photo ID required for economic features (wallet, marketplace). We store verification documents securely and use them for AML/KYC compliance. Digital verification will enable bank account linking for ACH transfers between USD and cryptocurrency. This level unlocks wallet access and token transactions.

Level 3 (Physical): Meeting verified members in person provides full platform access and eligibility to join Noblesse, our governance tier. We record verification events but no additional personal data. This level will enable self-custodial wallet options where you control your own keys.

How We Use Your Information

Core Operations:

  • Creating and managing your Decentralized Identity (DID)
  • Identity verification for economic features
  • Processing marketplace transactions
  • Providing custodial wallet services
  • Facilitating social interactions
  • Distributing cryptocurrency as universal basic income (UBI)

Platform Improvement:

  • Usage analysis for feature enhancement
  • Building internal user profiles to personalize your experience
  • Improving recommendations and platform features

Communications:

  • Support responses
  • Service notifications
  • Transaction confirmations

Data Sharing (The Important Part)

We Do NOT:

  • Sell your data. Ever.
  • Share your information with third parties for their marketing
  • Provide your data to advertisers or data brokers
  • Track you across the web with third-party cookies or pixels

We DO:

  • Build usage profiles to improve the platform and personalize your experience - but keep that analysis internal
  • Use first-party cookies on our platform for essential functionality and usage analysis
  • Protect your information with encryption and access controls
  • Minimize what data we collect to what's actually necessary
  • Work toward self-custodial solutions where you control your own keys and we can't access your data even if compelled

Legal Compliance

We disclose your information only when legally compelled by valid warrants from jurisdictions that possess both legal authority and enforcement mechanisms over our operational infrastructure and corporate presence. We make every legal effort to protect our users' privacy. We believe your data belongs to you, and we design our systems to minimize what information we can access or be compelled to provide.

Data Practices

Retention

We retain your information as long as:

  • Required by applicable regulations
  • Necessary for our stated purposes
  • Needed for dispute resolution

When you delete your account:

  • Transaction history remains for legal and record-keeping purposes
  • Digital assets in custodial wallets are held for the legally required period, then donated to support the nonprofit's mission
  • Content posted to the platform remains (blockchain records are permanent by design)

Security Measures

We protect your information through:

  • Encryption of sensitive data
  • Access controls
  • Secure storage protocols
  • Regular security assessments

While we implement strong protections, no internet transmission is 100% secure. We recommend using a trusted VPN for additional privacy and security when accessing the platform, especially on public networks.

Cookies

We use first-party cookies on our platform to:

  • Provide essential functionality
  • Remember preferences
  • Analyze platform usage
  • Enhance security

Most browsers allow cookie control through settings. Rejecting cookies may limit some Platform features. We do not use third-party tracking cookies.

Your Rights

You will be able to:

  • Access your information through account settings
  • Correct inaccuracies
  • Delete your account (subject to retention policies and blockchain permanence)
  • Object to certain processing activities

Exercise these rights through your account settings or by contacting us.

Policy Updates

If we need to change this policy, we'll tell you clearly what changed and why. No sneaking new terms into updates. We'll notify you of material changes through the Platform.

By using our Platform, you acknowledge your understanding of this Privacy Policy.
